I am a final year dual degree student at IIT Madras, with B.Tech (Honors) in Biological Engineering (Specialization: Computational Biology) and M.Tech in Biomedical Engineering.

I am fascinated and enjoy learning the approaches to simplify and understand living organisms using engineering principles. I am also intrigued by advancements in medical physics and technology that help patients and healthcare professionals.
I have been fortunate to work in diverse projects and have gained interests in developmental biology, neuroscience, biophotonics, medical imaging, dynamic systems modeling, synthetic biology, vascular biology, engineered cardiomyocytes and electrophysiology.

Apart from academics, I am an ardent sports lover and have been playing badminton, basketball and athletics since school days. I have won several state level badminton tournaments and represented my school at the CBSE Nationals. At IIT Madras, I have regularly been part of the Inter IIT sports event and also won the Best Female Badminton Player thrice. I also enjoy running, swimming, cricket, and squash.

Project: Metabolic redundancies, minimal reactomes and interactions in gut microbial species.
Computed minimal reactomes for gut-bacteria in the AGORA database and calculated inter-species interactions using the COBRA toolbox.
Analyzed the relationships and evolution of gut-bacteria to their present metabolic status.

Project: Bio-process design for lycopene production in Chlamydomonas reinhardtii
Analyzed SBML models using the COBRA toolbox and applied FSEOF, gene deletion techniques to determine optimal reactions producing lycopene.
